Unauthorized use or reproduction for any reason is prohibited Bio Born in Spain 46 years ago, I started taking photographs after my mother gave me a film SLR for my birthday more than 30 years ago. Since then photography has become my passion and takes all my free time. Working as a Family Doctor in the Northeast of England, photography helps me develop my artistic side. I like to give my photography an artistic feeling. I started taking landscapes but my recent interest has been wildlife inspired by the Wildlife Photographer of the Yearbooks. I like taking photos of wild birds and mammals in their natural environments. I travel around the world in search of wildlife and have been to many countries including Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe, India, Canada, USA, Alaska, Norway, Finland, Ireland, England and Spain. I have photographed many animals in the wild including Polar bears, Tigers, Cheetah and many species of wild birds and eagles. Starting on Underwater diving photography with trips to Maldives and the Red Sea. My work has been published on many magazines and books around the world including the RSPB cover in spring 2005 and BBC Wildlife magazine 2008. Recently publish my first co-author book of wild birds in flight called “on feathered wings” along with the exhibition at the American Museum of Natural History of New York with photos displays until may 2010. Recent awards in wildlife photography competitions include 1. Runner up International Wildbird Awards in 2005 in patterns and composition category. 2. BBC Wildlife photographer of the year 2008, Creative Visions of Nature category Winner. Visitor choice winner BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2008 website with Polar Sunrise Cover of the BBC Wildlife photographer of the year portfolio 2008 Exhibition at the Natural History Museum in London during 2009.
